- Affective Computing
Jocelyn was initially a PhD student in Affective Computing during the late 1990s. Her work focused on communicative wearables which were designed to sense physiology and communicate it via abstract design such as light, sound or computer graphics.
Jocelyn holds a M.A. in Psychology from Brandeis University and is very interested in the clinical applications of current wearables. She has returned to the Media Laboratory to finish her PhD, after years in tech startups . She is investigating the use of wearables for emotion regulation.
